The MRT Hua Lamphong Station is the last station on the MRT. There is nothing of interest at this MRT station however you can commence at this station and work your way along the MRT system until your reach the end of the line at the MRT Bang Sue Station. Much like this station there are not shopping malls or anything of interest. MRT Sam Yan Station
The MRT Sam Yan Station does not offer much for the tourist as it is mainly used by students attending the local university. There are also many small mom and pop shops and stores in the area if you just want to walk around for the day in the area. If you are looking for something for a tourist then the MRT Silom Station and also the BTS Asok Station or the BTS Sala Daeng Station would have something to offer you.

The MRT Silom Station is in the heart of the city of Bangkok. It is a very busy station and has some of the best hotels and restaurants in Bangkok. If you are looking for high-end shopping then the stores around the Silom MRT is where you will want to be. The MRT Phra Ram 9 Station has no tourist attractions and is home to mainly low-key properties and buildings housing some of Thailands largest SME’s. The area is mainly a business area and if you want tourist attractions then you should look at getting off at the MRT Thailand Cultural Center or at the MRT Chatuchuck Station where more than a million tourists go each year.

There is nothing of tourist value in the Ratchada area and it is mainly Thai who work and live in this area. MRT Lad Phrao Station. Nothing of any real tourist value in Lad Phrao other than the traffic jams which are well known in Bangkok. There is an art gallery located near the station however. Stay clear in the afternoons of the roads in this area – its a nightmare! This subway station is between the MRT Phaholyothin Station and the MRT Ratchadapisek Station. There are a number of good hotels in the area and a few local restaurants if you are touring the MRT system for the day and looking for a quick lunch but other than that nothing much.

Most tourists flock to Chatuchak Market and get off at the MRT Chatuchak Station or the BTS Mo Chit Station one station further up the line. The MRT Chatuchak Station is an interconnect station between the skytrain and subway system in Bangkok. This is where it meets the BTS Mo Chit Station in the Chatuchak area. The area is well known and very busy on weekends as it is also the crossover point for the Mo Chit Bus Terminal in Bangkok. These busses run to central and Southern Thailand. There is also the Chatuchak Weekend Market which is huge and busy.
