The Glow nightclub is a small but very comfy club in the heart of Bangkok. With good international DJ’s and excellent electronic music. The crowd is a mixture of locals and expats in Bangkok. Unlike other clubs in Bangkok the air conditioning in the club is excellent. The closest station is the BTS Sukhumvit Station.

La rueda Latin Club
The La rueda Latin Club is very unique in Bangkok as there are not many clubs with Latin American music and dancing. They also offer dance classes during the week which is more than reasonable. The Salsa dancing is normally on a Thursday and Saturday nights and the first drink is normally the cover charge.

The Royal Oak
The Royal Oak is another great bar/restaurant located close to the BTS Phrom Phong Station which is also very well-known in the area. The Royal Oak offers a good selection of imported beers with good outdoor seating. They have a ladies night every Thursday from 8PM. The Ladies drink can be either Chang draft, Mojitos or Vodka and a mixer for free.

This is a bit of an exclusive club with some really good people who hang-out here. Every member is carefully selected by this club. Really great people with interesting life stories tend to gravitate towards this place.

The Robin Hood
The Robin Hood bar is a well known bar with the expats in Thailand. This is another English pub along busy Sukhumvit road close to the BTS Phrom Phong Station. The cheese and nachos are excellent with a good pint of beer or cider.

Beer Park Saphan Khwai
If you are in the Saphan Kwai area close to the BTS Saphan Khwai Station then the well-known Beer Park makes for an excellent stop-over. Its a short taxi-ride from the BTS Kampaengphet Station but well worth the effort. The bar is mainly middle class Thai and from time to time you might find the odd expat there.

DJ Station
DJ Station is another well-known and upper-class gay bar located in Bangkok. Located close to the BTS Sala Daeng Station it is easy to get too. The bar has outside seating and does accept credit cards. The bar tends to attract a cross section of both foreigners and locals. Based over 3 floors the bar has much to offer.
Cloud 47 Bar & Bistro
The Cloud 47 Bar & Bistro is another well known sky-bar or roof-top bar in Thailand. Like other roof-top bars in Thailand it offers dinner as well as Beer, Wine, Full Bar and Cocktails. The Cloud 47 Bar & Bistro offers reasonable prices and located right in the heart of Silom. Not many foreigners have found this gem as yet.
Tapas Nightclub
Tapas Nightclub is a small but well-known nightclub and pub with house-music that is well liked by the locals. The nightclub is located in Silom on Soi-4 which is mainly a gay area near Sala Daeng Station. It does have a very good reputation for House Music and they live up to this expectation. The club fills up after midnight and you are advised to arrive just after 10 when everything gets going.
Molly Malone’s Bangkok
Molly Malone’s Bangkok (มอลลี่ มาโลนส์) is another well-known Irish pub near to the BTS Sala Daeng. The pub is a favorite with many expats. They offer brunch as well as dinner with outdoor seating as well as free WiFi and they do accept credit cards.

Bearbie Bar
The Bearbie Bar is a karaoke-bar located in the well-known and busy Soi 4 in Silom. There are a number of other entertainment venues in the area such as the Bas Bar. Many Thai’s like Bearbie Bar as karaoke is very popular in Thailand. The bar is very relaxed and the people it attracts are great. Note that this bar is always full so try and arrive before 10 at night.

The Tree House (เดอะ ทรี เฮาส์) is a well-known pub located in Central Bangkok. The pub tends to attract mainly middle-class Thai’s and if you want to take friends out to a pub in Bangkok then this is well located as well as priced well. Bamboo Jazz Bar
One of the best Jazz-pubs in Thailand is the well-known The Bamboo Bar located at the Oriental Bangkok Hotel. The bar has ambiance with its marble and dark-wood with low lighting. The pub was clearly designed to be a walk back to colonial times in Thailand. Very stylish and well worth a visit.

The Jazz club Jazz Happens! (แจ๊ส แฮบเพ้นส์) is a small jazz club around the corner close to Khao San Road and within walking distance of many small Jazz and Blue clubs in the area such as the Brown Sugar Jazz Club. Jazz Happens! is made out of a collaboration of Silpakorn University’s Faculty of Jazz.

The Saxophone Pub
The Saxophone Pub is hands down the best Jazz pub in Bangkok. Their excellent live bands are top-notch and their food is excellent. Nothing better to have than good live Jazz music with good food. If you have never been to a Jazz pub in Thailand then this should be on the top of your list.
