Lumphini Park

Lumphini Park is one of the largest parks in Bangkok and well-known in the area. Located close to many Embassies in Bangkok and large enough to cover the area between the BTS Sala Daeng, BTS Silom Station as well as the BTS Lumphini Station.

The park has  beautiful scenery and you can spend hours walking around the park as it it a large 57.6-hectare (142-acre) park. The pathways are popular with joggers in the evening as it is  2.5 km in length. Dogs are not allowed in the park and smoking is not allowed. Cycling is only allowed in the park during the day between 10:00 to 15:00. Lumphini Park in Bangkok was created in the 1920s by King Rama VI on royal property. The park also has a lake and you can rent a paddle boat for 30 minutes. The area is the heart of Bangkok’s business district and there are many foreign companies and law firms in Thailand located close to the park.
