This is a great place if you enjoy having live music while having a meal. The place has a good atmosphere with imported beers on offer as well as the great live music. The location is also excellent as it is located close to the BTS Nana Station and close to some of the high-end hotels such as the Ambassador Hotel in Bangkok and across the road from the Landmark Hotel.
The Check Inn 99 was originally a Cabaret Bar which goes back to the 1960’s in Thailand. It was originally called the Copacobana and today it is Bangkok’s oldest known operating bar & nightclub that even pre-dates the 1970’s Vietnam war. The bar is open nightly and they offer a mid priced steakhouse with both European and Thai menu choices. These are all cooked and served in a home style manner. The bar has excellent acoustic music on a nightly bases between 6-8.30pm which is then followed by their own house-band “Music of the Heart“. They provide a nightly Cabaret style performance from 8.30pm until 1.30am. This is not to be missed and it is located in Central Bangkok close to most hotels.
